The recent development of stone polishing heads that automatically polish granite, slate, and limestone has been a major trend in the stone industry. There are many options for stone polishing heads, including 6, 9, 12, 16, 16 and 24 heads. Multi-head stone polishing heads with high productivity per hour reduce turnaround times for turning raw slabs into polished products. The machine's basic principle is the same. The oscillating movement is controlled by the bridge connecting the rotary polishing heads. Each head has a motor and a rotating head that houses the abrasive. The sensors detect the contours and edges of the slabs. These heads are connected to a conveyor belt that moves the stone under them. Once the stones have been passed under them, the heads act on them and raise up. You can also control the pressure by adjusting the individual head action. Mounting the abrasive series on the grinding heads is done in two ways. The head closest to an input carriage has the coarsest grit, and the one closest to an exit carriage has the best grit. A typical 8-inch disc is suitable for mounting on the polishing heads.
